Mike Trier

I was raised in Caledonia, NY, a suburb of Rochester, and was heavily influenced at age 14 by two books, Stephen King’s “Night Shift” and David Morrell’s “First Blood”. These books inspired me to be a writer and are still kept handy for inspiration.

In 1994 I received a BA in Communications, minoring in English Literature, from the State University of New York at Cortland, and have written more than two dozen short stories as well as co-authored the screenplay “Dead West”, a zombie-western hybrid.

I currently work for CNN in New York City and live on Long Island with my wife Jean and son Matthew.
